Honey.

Today I tucked into the bottle of honey Alfredo gave me as I set off after the recent project visit to Chimanimani. It had that very unprocessed straight-from-the-hive taste (helped by the unidentified particles floating in it) and was pleasing with lashings of yogurt and raisins.

The Mohammad Mosque is fairly central in Maputo. Somewhere between 15-20% of Mozambique’s population identifies as Muslim. There is a much higher percentage in coastal areas of the north, which has traditionally had close trading links with the Middle East and other coastal areas of East Africa.
