Christmas is coming

This morning I had to go for my booster jab no problems (but now suffering with a very sore arm) we then called at Aldi and got a few things back home I vacuumed and did the shredding. M went out with her friend A they were supposed to be going out with three other friends for the start of A's 30th birthday celebrations but one of the others tested positive for Covid so they decided to change their plans for another date but M and A decided to go into Birmingham themselves they are staying overnight and then heading to Coventry tomorrow to meet up with A's parents for a meal and to go to the hockey. For my lunch I had some sandwiches and my (drum roll please) first mince pie of the Christmas period. So while I was on my own I started to wrap some presents and then after tea I finished writing my Christmas cards while watching Strictly Come Dancing and yes I had another mince pie.
