Earth star

Spotted while on a loop walk at Mountcharles when I was supposed to be out with the bird watching group, but it was very overcast & drizzling, so Kim & I went for the walk with Bubbles. We also saw a young red squirrel, 15 Curlew, 6 Brent Geese & lots of Oystercatchers.
Apparently this is also known as stomach fungi.
