Unleashed!
For my recent birthday I received an hour's session at a local Unleashed park, which is an enclosed park with sole use of various dog activities. We initially went round each of them, there were about 10, to introduce Arlo to them, he took to some immediately and avoided the tunnels which spooked him, but we came back to them and soon had him dashing through. He was exhausted after 20 mins, so we had some down time where he could dig in sand or sniff some rosemary, cat nip etc. He even got the idea of weaving between poles, which we'd tried at home unsuccessfully, but loved jumping through the 3 tyres in sequence. We all had great fun, it was great to see him enjoy himself so much. Once the park is hired, you can take up to 4 dogs there which would be good to try assuming they didn't avoid all the activities!
Geek talk... boring... I am just enthralled with this years Formula 1 season, it is edge of the seat stuff and unlike any year I can remember. There was once a time when I cheered on Lewis, but I tend to favour the young contenders, so am glad Max is right there, with the final race tomorrow and they are on equal points. I still think Lewis, and his car, are favourites tomorrow, but what Red Bull did today in qualifying was stunning, the only real chance Max has of winning is if he is pole, and pole he got, against the odds. It is going to be thrilling right up to 10 seconds after the race start, and hope that continues throughout the race, I can't wait to find out.
