Alix playing around

I met Alix this morning for a walk along the Humber to the marina area. We ate cake and drank coffee at Wilson's and then walked around Humber Quays. Alix betrayed her age and climbed around the pavement sculptures - watched by someone in one of the overlooking offices.

The sun had gone in by this time and we were both getting cold so just time for a blip on a bollard!

Alix had never been in the famous toilets on the pier (the most attractive being the men's) but we daren't enter without a man in tow to check there was no-one at the urinals.

We plan another visit in warmer weather on a guided walk or a tour of the Fish Trail. Brought back memories of Head of Tourism days and showing journalists and travel trade reps around the city.
