It’s a try!

After a late night with #2 daughter and husband we all had to get going to get the boys to rugby which was away, at Alnwick. It made for a much shorter drive for them all to stay overnight with us.

Although Thomas was player of the week I didn’t manage to get any decent photos of him so this sequence is of James. He was fast today, being well-fortified by Granny’s muesli and yogurt. (He had 2 bowls).

Friends are all quite down, having cancelled breaks to Peebles (Linda) and Edinburgh (Carol), in order to try to succeed in having a Covid-free family Christmas. Numbers were close on 60000 a day last week. Hopefully those testing positive will get it mildly.

We have a few things to go to but all are outside, with the children, until we have our strategic planning meeting on 25 December. When is a party not a party? When it’s a gathering of smug selfish Tories.
