Ready for Business

It was back to Rosewell for another Christmas Fair - regulars might spot I forgot my tablecloth and had to improvise :)

It was a really promising start - especially after ForthPorts and MrsFP stopped by for a catch up and some shopping. The rest of the afternoon, however, was really quiet - I think people are now staying away from gatherings. It wasn't a disastrous afternoon's takings by any means but it was a lot less than I would have expected so close to Christmas. Thankfully a couple of punchy online orders boosted the coffers significantly :)

In the evening we went over to the Horseshoe Inn at Eddleston with friends for dinner. It was really great to be out and have a good catch up with them and feast on fabulous fine food and wines. Who knows if we'll be able to see people in person for much longer so we 'kicked the arse out of it' as they say :)
