Opposing towpaths and swing bridge

I was lucky with the sunlight which was a passing visitor today. Lots of folk out walking as you can see.I never know what I am looking at in these slopes beyond the canal, though I'm sure someone once told me. I posted off some Christmas cards today, even wrote a letter to go with one of them. I should show you my cards. They are all the same from Amnesty International and called: Handsome Fox. (Woops - all out of extras, I'm afraid. Maybe tomorrow?)
