Bookends

I've never really been in to the gift exchanging Christmas thing.  Apart from the children of course where its different.

Bur for adults reasearch shows that a bit over 70% of presents are unappreciated or unliked by those who receive them.   And then we have a lot of the recipients who are suddently capable of giving an Academy Award winning performance for how much they like the gift, only for it to go on eBay the following week. (Try an eBay seach for 'unwanted gift' in January)

Anyway, against this background I take great care with any gifts I do buy.  So for someone who is an avid book reader I had the idea of a nice set of vintage bookends.   This pair caught my eye!  Do you think she will like them?
