Blue Skies Blue Tit

At last! Actually got to do some proper farming today!! Have at last started knocking down some seedbeds for " spring corn ". Watched by a Buzzard I watched Lapwings in courtship flight stooping over the fields. Much later while Mrs A S and Miller did their home work for tomorrows lessen, I listened to a pair of Tawny Owls courting in the shelter belt at the East end of the arena. The above was taken after work, I refilled the feeders, then sat on the bench six to eight feet from them to see who was brave or hungry enough to feed with me so close! The evening sun was grand to sit in but I didn't tarry long, to let the others feed too.
