Late afternoon near Cliburn

Totally unplanned day. Our original aim was to take a drive either round the Howgill fells, or into the Yorkshire Dales, but we've had a bit of boiler trouble, and had a call from our plumber, offering to call by and take a look. Turns out the valve to the hot water tank was playing up, so a new valve and now we have plenty of hot water again.

Half the day gone so we decided to pop up to Carlisle as we needed a few things - and we'd heard about a really good Chinese supermarket there.

Got some of what we went for, but found the Chinese supermarket was closed on Tuesdays.

I've had toothache for a few days, and a call to the dentist managed to squeeze me in late afternoon. An X-ray showed a previous root treatment unde a crown had a secondary infection, so I'm back on antibiotics and another appointment in a few weeks to try to save the tooth!

Drove home through Cliburn and Morland, and passed thos great ploughed field and trees, with an interesting sky too!
