Scrub Nurse N

We’ve been to Coventry today to meet up with Mr HB’s eldest daughter and family.  They had a long drive all the way from Essex and we only had an hour and a bit down the M6 to drive.  However, only a mile away from the pub the A46 was closed in every direction, so quite a lot of circumnavigation made us late.  Eventually we arrived only to find that half the party from Essex had also been held up on the M1, but once we were all safely  gathered we had a great lunch and it was lovely to see them all again. 
 
We had a trouble free journey home and my #1 daughter came round to finish printing off some photos to be put in frames for Christmas presents for her two children – now 30 & 33!  My blip is of my #1 granddaughter, Natasha, who is training to be a Nurse.  Last week she was on a placement in an operating theatre where she stood for 8 hours observing a patient having extensive bowel surgery.  After which she accompanied the patient to the recovery room and then on to the ward.  She is pleased to report that the patient is recovering very well.
