Local hills

A pretty drab grey day.  I had a Pilates class this morning with a different teacher.  Its always good to have a change of class routine and this one was very different but a good all rounder.  After a quick coffee I met up with a friend and we visited a local pottery and art studio that was having an open day.  A present was bought by my friend and we then walked a little way down the road to view the scene.  The light on these hills was more attractive than the more scenic view to the other side so this form todays blip.

An afternoon and evening of cooking as sourdough was cooked, Christmas cake started, I wasn't sure whether to bother but I had the ingredients so I have, and tea cooked.

It was announced earlier today that the Covid alert level has been raised to four due to the rapid spread of the new Omicron virus variant. The government have just announced that in response they have brought forward by a month the target date for all eligible 18 year olds and over to receive their booster jabs.  Our son has managed to book an appointment for one at the end of this month which he is pleased about.
