About to bake

William has occupied most of today. He brushed me gently at 7.20 am. Then it was a constant barrage of 'Grandma.'

He did give the cake mix a preemptory stir. This is the Christmas cake just before I put it in the oven.

While it was cooking, William, Basil and I walked to the small play park on the estate. He played on some of the equipment, but the game he enjoyed most was Hide and Seek. He hid, I counted and sought.
