Riverside walk at Christmas

Our local riverside walk has been taken over by some events company. Here a blip of the scene. They’ve added lights and a real life Santa and are charging a pretty penny for the privilege! We went to go tonight but had the dog with us and apparently it’s a no dog zone. Boo! So we headed off to the (dog friendly) pub and ate pizza instead.

Middle son had his new girlfriend over for the day. He was giving her a piggyback across the driveway when we got back from the shops! Nice to see them having a bit of fun as the new Covid variant is causing all sorts of havoc here and looks like school will be breaking up early because of it.
