Winter lights

Perhaps because I had such a chilled day yesterday, I woke up this morning and wrote for an hour. That felt so good.

A very convivial day followed. Friend S came for breakfast, and we engaged in some deep conversation whilst trying to suss out the workings of the high spec hob and coffee machine! Then I spent a warm and wonderful afternoon at friend R’s, where I snapped this lovely light display.

Since I got back I’ve had FaceTimes (none were planned) with sis in law, sis V, and both daughters respectively. Phew! I’m all talked out.
