Half done

After spending the morning weeding a friend’s garden, the last thing I really wanted to do was to weed my own. But the grass needed another hour or two before it was dry enough to cut, so I used the time pulling up nettles, fat hen and dandelions from the bamboo bed.

It was a lot more fiddly than I anticipated, so there is half the bed still to tackle tomorrow. But even partly finished it’s starting to look smart.

Yes, the grass is cut.
