Today's outing on a dull day was across town to get groceries from Tesco. Yes, that exciting! It took me past the Penicuik skate park, which (like the all-weather pitch) was introduced to the park about 15 years ago and gets heavy use, some of which is by kids who might use their time in less socially acceptable pursuits. Quite naturally, graffiti on the concrete walls is accepted, and it's changed over the years. However, I guess that there's a convention not to paint over "Penicuik skate park".
