Local bungalow

I passed as I walked to the shops this morning.
Its been renovated in recent years.
As children in the 40's we thought it was wonderful because of its unusual shape. 
It had the name plate AXWELL on the gate.
The nice lady who lived there was Dutch.
I've done nothing else today.:)
