I Can See the Disney Castle
Our first day in Disneyland today. Bloody marvelous!!
It was so exciting walking up from the car park seeing the castle appear!
We made a bit of a mistake when we first got in and queued for hours to get on the Dumbo ride. Miss L was poorly and started whining that she wanted to go home, they were both moaning about being hungry, Miss E kept asking why we couldn't have just gone swimming instead.... But we got on eventually and they loved it; it was all worth it!
As was the Peter Pan ride, the Pirates of the Caribbean, the whirling teapots, the cave maze, the pirate boat and the pont suspendu
It all went a bit downhill from there - Miss L was obviously feeling rotten and Miss E started properly moaning about wanting to go swimming. I turned into that banshee mother screeching "it doesn't cost hundreds of pounds to go swimming. We could have stayed at home and gone swimming!!!"
We went to get something to eat and I got stuck in a hellish never moving queue for about an hour. I was nearly in tears by the time I got served!
But the food was yummy and it perked us all up a bit.
Then it was a few more rides before we headed off. Miss L had had enough by then and as Mr K had been carrying her all day he'd had enough too!
I took Miss E swimming when we got back to the ranch which she loved.
Mr K stayed with Miss L and administered Calpol which she loved.
When they were both asleep Mr K and I had bread, cheese, pate and olives which we loved.
Then it was an early night. Asleep by 8.30pm ready for our adventures tomorrow.
