Unexpected Visitor

Normally we get pigeons visiting the pond in our garden for a drink and a wash; the movement usually catches my eye and it gives me a good opportunity for a break from my screen.

Todays wings were a lot bigger and I was very surprised to see this instead of a pigeon! It stayed for about 5 mins then flew on and checked out the next 2 consecutive gardens after ours.
