Bank

My youngest daughter gave us this pottery cow bank (well, this is Milton Keynes!) on New Year's Day 2005. In it was one coin and the motto 'May we each arrive where we truly wish to go'.

The local brass band was going around this evening and we thought it would be nice to give them coins to rattle rather than boring notes. But we had none in our pockets or bags. So I raided the bank - not by breaking it (as we were supposed to) but with the aid of a brass letter-opener I made at school.

The result so far - £140 in £2 coins. And it's not empty yet!

We missed the band.
