Collared

It's funny the way folks of a certain age regard the clergy. An elderly lady who lives in the home where I work, rather aggressively complained to a visitor (minister without dog collar)about the temperature of the room(as is her right). When I explained to the lady that this was not a member of staff but the minister she changed her growl to a sweet old lady, angelic smile in a nanosecond. She even adopted her telephone voice.
I may wear a dog collar to work from now on.
