I was second in the queue for the supposed 14:00 appointments, managing to get my booster, have the flu jab I had last month logged on my records and be back sitting in the post-vaccination waiting area before 14:01. I'd managed to get to a shop to collect an order beforehand and had time for a little investigation of the woodland paths just off Craigmillar Castle Road before heading to collect the children.
