Festive mono Monday

Finally posted all our Christmas cards this morning having stood for ages in the long queue to get stamps (a sure sign the festive season is upon us).
Moreover the woman at the counter told me not to put my cards in the post box, once she saw the number of stamps I had bought, but instead to hand them over at the counter.

In the gym this afternoon the talk was all of cancelled parties and flights. One woman had friend who refused to be vaccinated and had chosen to cancel the family holiday in Tenerife because they would only allow fully vaccinated people in.
