Decorating With Gin Bottles

Yes, this is true. The little globe contains Gin!

The Christmas Tree belongs to Pat 2! No great surprise, there, as she is a great gin aficionado. So is my Pat. Quite a number of Pat’s lady friend are also in the same category.

It is all quite harmless fun, for intake is moderate. 

Today we drove to Stirling to have lunch and to deliver Christmas presents. Being the "designated driver" as well as the only driver, I was abstemious and enjoyed my alcohol free lunch.

Thereafter, we drove a couple of blocks or so to the residence of Herr Doktor HJ Beyer.

Pat had prepared a supper as a "meals on wheels" service, and Jurgen had prepared his legendary Nut Cake.

It is a few months since we last got together and Jurgen is missing his daily swim at the University Sports Centre.

However, we enjoyed another fine repast, before heading back home.

Jurgen does not have a Television. Indeed he has never had one.

Pat had to vote for Strictly contestants "blind" I did manage to obtain the judges scores from the Guardian website.

We arrived home to watch the contest and I enjoyed a Whisky and Green Ginger.
