Reading

I’ve been re-reading these three little books inside one book.  Pleasant stories for Christmas (in lovely contrast to a book I just read about Koreans in Japan - well-written fiction, but an unenjoyable read).

Waiting for the plumber to arrive.  He was due between 12.30 and 2, so we put off having a cooked meal until this evening.  He still hasn’t arrived (at 3.20) and is ‘on another job’ apparently.  I get fed up with hearing this phrase from him and we will not be using him again (he was due to come last Thursday originally).  We can’t use our downstairs toilet until it’s mended.
