Tiny Tuesday: In the pink

We've had classic UK December weather today - its been dull, dreary and drizzly - although not that cold.  Still, it is not that far to the equinox solstice now, and the promise of longer days to come. In the meantime there's the Mid Winter festive feasting to get on with shortly.

In the hope of finding a small feathered thing for today's blip I went off to Chew with the long lens, but it really was just too dark for all but the stillest of birds, which was not terribly interesting, so I gave it up as a bad job and came home.  Here instead is a very jolly seasonal cyclamen which is very much in the pink.

Cathy has planted some of these little delights around the paths in the garden, and they really cheer the place up when so much else has turned  brown and sticky ...
