Festive afternoon tea

Travelled down to Edinburgh for a festive afternoon tea with my work colleagues today. The venue was the Waldorf Astoria and it was very lovely. With all sorts of sweet and savoury goodies :)

Managed a wee bit of shopping in my daughters favourite shop before catching the train home.

Looking forward to a gradual wind down over the next week or two. Trying to avoid the news as it seems the UK is back pretty much back where we were a year ago (except for vaccinations) which is throughly depressing. I’d prefer just to sit in luxury and drink fancy teas! :)
