Chilled

This afternoon we went over to Holkham Hall to see the house decorated for Christmas.  An interesting tour of the decorated rooms and some of the displays were superb, including this one of an ice encrusted dining table.  Definitely worth seeing but was it worth the amount they charged to see it all?  Let’s just say the jury is out.  The highlight for us was probably as we were driving up to the hall in the dark, when we had to stop for a herd of several hundred deer who decided to cross the road in front of us!
