Fascination
It was lovely to see so many youngsters really intrigued by the images at the WPOTY exhibition.
I caught this small family group watching the extra projected images that didn't quite make the final selection, trying to decide on their 'people's choice'
Being a Sunday we elected to drive into Kensington today where we knew we could find some easy on street free parking for the day. It was also convenient for our early visit to the museum.
We spent a couple of hours in the exhibition before setting off on foot to Leicester Square - quite a walk, especially the way we went.
As we walked through Hyde Park there were hundreds thousands of people queuing to get into The Winter Wonderland. Very glad that that particular attraction wasn't in the least attractive to us.
We also saw The Mound, a strange addition to the area by Marble Arch

which left us scratching our heads.
By mid afternoon we had walked miles so we took refuge in a very posh West End cinema and watched the latest Bond from plush reclining chairs.
Afterwards, having recovered our energy, we walked half way back to Kensington before being tempted by a passing bus.
