Progress

Went to see the architect today for a meeting - it was my day off so didn't have to rush back to work - but we did have to rush to the doctor's which was good or we would have never got away.

Mostly two steps forward and one back - which is progress of sorts. The front and east walls have been pointed rather than rendered which is good as I don't like render. The north wall has been done with cement recently so it's basically wrecked so can't be rendered now and removing the cement is expensive and risky, so they are going to patch it with lime and leave it alone.

The plasters have done some sloppy works, so their boss was here today and it will be redone properly next time. Most other things are going okay, we may be able to use the old part of the house for Xmas, but we are already three weeks late and it looks like it will be spring before it's all complete and ready to move back into...!
