Advent Calendar Day 12 - Three Ghosts

The three figures met as they do every night and then, as they have done every night since the night of the storm, all those years ago, separated to re-enact the three terrible mistakes that they made that night. The first will climb the way that leads to the cliff path from whence he was, and will be, plucked from the clifftop by the wind. The second will cross the moor on his way to an appointment with a lightning strike. The third will go to the Elephant and Eagle and its pub quiz where, yet again, he will give the title of a Brotherhood of Man song in answer to a question about Abba.
