Sundown

Bit of a trek today to Kirkcudbrightshire to photograph Sparrowhawks.

Lots of Jays, woodpecker, nuthatch, coaltits, bluetits, chaffinch, pheasant, buzzard, red kites, and for technically sparrow hawk out in an appearance - speedy flybys and swooping in attacking the other feathered visitors (unsuccessful) before landing in a tree a little too far away!

Today’s blip was a rather splendid sunset en route back to civilisation.
