Mine!
Today did not start well, I leapt out of bed in response to a call from mum and have pulled (hopefully not anything worse) my calf muscle. The treatment appears to be elevation and rest, so that's not going to happen! It's unbelievably painful though, I used to think my cramps were bad, but this! Luckily I still have some Naproxen so I'm going to take that for a couple of days and then see how it is. I'm also wearing a flight compression shock to see if that helps. Ouch! I'll not be leaping out of bed tomorrow morning that's for sure.
I did decide to try a rest this afternoon but was surprised to see that my bed was already occupied! She often curls up under the top bedspread but her position today amused me. Needless to say she did not remain there for very long!
I didn't go out today because of my leg, but I got some more cards written, be impressed, the grand total of 2!
Mum is heading north tomorrow so I got her belongings packed up. She has a hair appointment in the morning so she'll be looking at her best. Kathryn popped in on her way home from work to say goodbye.
Ali continued her success with Vaccines today and managed to get an appointment for Stuart at Ingliston this evening so that's us all done now - I'm counting Jon as done too as his appointment is on Thursday.
Ali and Stuart popped by with Josie on their way back home after his jab they were here within 45 minutes of his appointment time so the queues were not too bad.
The extra is great nana and Josie, her 3rd great grand daughter. One is 99 years old and the other 3 months! Can you tell which is which lol!
Keep safe folks, like everyone else, I'm not too sure how things are going to pan out but I'm going to do my best to keep us all safe. The new quarantine rules sound untenable for those trying to work, and care for children. I think we are going to have to see some more drastic restrictions again.
