Regent St angel

However much they invested in the Christmas angels of Regent St it was worth it.  For years we had horrible Disney sponsored lights but I think these have been in place for ten years or so and they are so beautiful particularly down the Piccadilly end as the street curves and you can really see the sweep of the Nash buildings I thought of going over to Fortnums but actual shopping at the end of the working day is exhausting and heavy. 

That said London is so quiet again that it’s heartbreaking.   I came in for a lunch and for a coffee with someone and then a zoom in the office (special permission). I got a tube back to Waterloo but it was so empty, at 6pm that I didn’t feel worried.  

Then the level crossing gate at Liss broke and we were stuck outside Haslemere.
