After another day sorting out stuff - walked the village Christmas Trail with three other ladies who travelled - came across Santa - think with those spindly legs he’ll easily fit down a chimney - looks like his little helper has already been practising drinking sherry - in preparation of the amount he will have to drink on Christmas Eve - if the tradition of leaving a carrot for Rudolph - and a mince pie and and sherry for Santa and his helpers is still upheld

Afterwards partook of refreshments in the local with friends - their company is always welcome - and makes me smile
