Checking his list

The local rotary club came down our road with their bucket tonight.

I heard the music and quickly bundled L into her coat to run outside. At which point she got totally star struck when she saw Father Christmas coming our way.

I was carrying her when her face looked all worried.
Me: Are you ok, darling?
L: I feel nervous.

Then later after bathtime, she said, “Father Christmas came and he ticked me on the good list. I was nervous but I said hello.”
