A Special Resident

There are around 3,500 red squirrels on the Isle of Wight. It is a safe place for the endangered species as the Solent effectively blocks off access to grey squirrels (who are more aggressive and are their enemies).


We are very lucky to be holidaying next to a local nature reserve which is one of their main habitats. A little bit of suitable food was all it took to entice them in for a very satisfying photo shoot.
