Knowing I should still stay indoors today, my knight in hairy armor flew in as soon as I'd opened the window, took a walk along the curtains and flew out again right after I'd managed three shots. Two of these went straight into the bin and the third definitely isn't a top-class fly capture either, but it was the first outdoor bugger I've seen this year and deserves a place in my journal for that reason alone.
