Flip, Spin...Mirror...

Quick blip n run this morning. The challenge is patterns for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday so thought I'd share the inside of one of our kitchen cupboards, flipped, spun and mirrored. The one where Lady V houses her gazillion midwife mugs. She gets gifted these from student midwifes who she mentors through their early development straight from graduation. She really does mother them and ensure they are exposed as little as possible to the true horrors of society that find their way through the labour wards.

Some of the thank you cards are truly heart warming if I care to be honest and these young ladies are most appreciative of having such a caring individual in their support.

I often greet Lady V after a shift with a snappy little one liner, 'have you had a good day at the orifice', not a good greeting after a thirteen hour shift!
