The egg man.

Not the day we had planned.

At the moment we should be in Leeds enjoying the Christmas lights before going to the Lord Mayor’s Carol Concert tonight.
Something we have been looking forward to for months especially as it was cancelled last year.
However we had a phone call from the Eye Hospital to say they wanted to see Mr C again next Tuesday. His eye has gradually been getting worse.
Because of the new Covid variant Omicron, we decided it was best not to mix with a large group of people today. We didn’t want anything to stand in the way of his treatment.
Somethings are more important than others, and ones eyesight is one of them.

So we did the farm shop this afternoon instead of tomorrow, and bought some of our favourite Whisky ice cream from Goodall’s of Tong on the way home. I tried some of their Christmas Pudding ice cream, but it didn’t really taste of much other than Vanilla with a few raisins in it. They are selling a lot at the moment though.

Oh and forgot to mention, my new cooker was delivered this morning.
