All my own work

A few years ago I went on a day course on gold work embroidery. I had to finish it at home, and I think my technique needs perfecting. Perhaps I should have another go. The great thing about Christmas decorations is that so many of them are home made. Some go back fifty years! It is such fun unpacking them every year. They mean so much more to me than anyone else.
I spent the morning editing for The Talking Newspaper. Later N and I collected our pre- ordered frozen turkey joint and picked up some other goodies. At the moment our plans for Christmas are going ahead after a bit of soul searching. The plans are quite low key, and we will be very careful. But I can’t help worrying about it.
