Sunrise

Our little dog Daisy wakes us at 6 am each morning as she needs food and her insulin injection. So, I went out to see the misty sunrise. It was nice to be out and about early, I left Mrs BR emptying her kiln.

The normal day was cancelled as Miss T’s school had closed early. Term end had been brought forward from Wednesday next week, to Friday this week and then today. I think possibly too late as Omicron is already making itself felt in the community. Cases were found amongst pupils at the school.
Some family who were coming from Epsom have cancelled their trip as having to isolate in a hotel would hold no joy should they be unlucky on the journey. Guernsey has become one of the places travelers should now avoid.
I think we are all accustomed to changing our plans.
