Dear Dad,

Today would have been your 80th birthday so I thought what better tribute to a keen and skilled photographer such as yourself than for me to spend the morning doing my best to take a half decent photo for you.

I took some lovely ones of the cheeky red squirrel who let me get to about 6 feet of him and he even sat and posed for me but this robin photo came out best of all. I normally leave the camera on autofocus which drives me up the wall but my eyesight is not great but for today's shots I left it on manual as it's quieter so I'm pleased with the results. Hope you like it too!
