Being Flower Friday I did zip out to the garden this afternoon and took a few pictures of the delicate wee flowers just coming out on my hebe.  I hadn’t even loaded them when this weather event happened tonight at 8pm.  I grabbed the phone as it’s got a ultra wide mode and handled the arc with room to spare. 
The wet weather is ridiculous, so much rain but we had a nice wee spell this afternoon on sunshine, and was able to sit outside for our refreshments.  But then in it came again and absolutely pelted down big time for an hour or so.  Then the sun squeezed through and created this beauty.  We’ve got water gushing all over the place. 
Because the garden was so wet from yesterdays downpours gardening was out of the question, now I do wonder when ever things will dry out again.  
Anyhoo…..I put the day to good use and ticked off another year of Ella photos , five years down eleven to go…daunting!! 

COVID …. Our country is now 90% double vaccinated but with Omicron lurking (we now have three, all in MIQ) we really need to crank on quickly with the boosters, and jabbing our five to eleven year olds.  A child under eleven succumbed to COVID yesterday, scary.
