Evening excitement

We were barbecuing on our front balcony this evening when the local rescue helicopter flew by - seen here though the branches of a Norfolk Island Pine. It circled over Seven Mile Beach for some time. There were 3 or 4 emergency vehicles on the beach. But there was no landing and no winching up of an emergency case. Maybe it was a training exercise. It's nice to know this service is available, if needed.
