Despite the rapid spread of Omicron, and Chris Witty's advice to limit social contacts, 'twas a relatively sociable day. Proportionate and reasonable mixing with other people, you understand.

Enjoyed a coffee with Jacqui this morning, and her friend Jen who popped in for a while. Called in to the Good Life Shop on the way home for some essentials, and stopped for a quick chat with David, the owner.

A good while this afternoon spent tracking down several items that are in transit. Most are somewhere between there and here, one hasn't succeeded in crossing the border into England yet b***y Brexit, and one hasn't left the warehouse. Hoping they'll all arrive before Christmas as promised, but it's doubtful!

Yoga this evening, just the two of us and our teacher. No problem physical distancing...

No Blip when I got home, but a pine cone that I took from one of the fallen trees on the Common came to the rescue. The pattern of its scales seemed perfect for Abstract Thursday. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.
