Our relaxing weekend turned a bit manic. Predictably there was no hot water when we woke up, so had to take it in turns showering at one of Mum's neighbours. We then make our way to Ipswich and found out that ITFC were playing at home, so got caught up in solid football traffic. We made it to the Wolsey just in time to grab a quick bowl of soup and then went on their theatre tour. It was great to have a snoop backstage and find out more about the theatre. We stayed for the matinee performance of Birdsong, which was excellent. The policeman from 'Allo 'Allo was slightly mis-cast as a Frenchman; it took a while before he could talk without everyone laughing! The show went on much longer than we expected, and it then took 25mins to get out of the car park! We rushed back to Mum's and somehow got back in time to check the boiler situation then head out again for an evening quiz. There were only three of us on the team, and we did way better than expected, coming in about 5th out of 23 teams!
