Eucalyptus Sideroxylon

During our recent rain storm that lasted one day, a huge branch of this tree fell on the ground... hubby had to get the saw out and cut it in pieces to haul it away, I asked him to save a few branches for my blip.
I put some in a small vase, but too bad the ants liked it as well and soon it was covered. When it rains we can have an ant problem. I used bleach and it helped. I had tried almost everything else before.
But I had learned one lesson about the ants, when they discovered an open container with honey, I removed the honey and left them alone. A few hours later they were all gone - I guess it was word of mouth.
